My stay at the hotel was interesting. The rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes but were surprisingly big and simple, in a lovely traditional Japanese style. The service was lacking, with staff pushing responsibilities onto guests and a language barrier that made communication difficult. The location was outside the center but not too far from Lake Kawaguchiko, offering a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from the rooftop. The dining options were traditional Japanese and delicious but at a high price. The facilities were adequate but not exceptional.

The hotel offers a traditional Japanese experience with small rooms that can feel cramped for two persons, resembling a storage room and lacking windows and a microwave. Despite this, the setting is very authentic with a small table and beds on the floor. The service, while friendly and helpful upon arrival, may present challenges with English proficiency and a tendency to push responsibility onto guests. The location, though debated due to its distance from Kawaguchiko Station, is convenient for exploring the area around Mt. Fuji, being within walking distance of a picturesque bridge offering the best view of the mountain at sunrise. The dining experience, included in the room charge, is praised for its traditional and delicious Japanese cuisine, but European guests may find it somewhat unusual.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of pros and cons. The rooms were spacious with a hot tub overlooking Mount Fuji, which was amazing after a long day of exploring Japan. However, the room had no windows and lacked a microwave for heating convenience store food. The service was friendly, although the language barrier could be a challenge for non-Japanese speakers. The location was debatable, being a bit far from the train station but close to a stunning viewpoint of Mount Fuji. The dining experience was decent, with simple yet delicious dishes. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and came with a tea ceremony set, kimonos, and a good-size shower, which I loved. However, the room felt very dated, and there was nowhere to hang our jackets. The bathroom wasn't clean and had hair in it, which was disappointing.
