My stay at the hotel was interesting. The rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes but were surprisingly big and simple, in a lovely traditional Japanese style. The service was lacking, with staff pushing responsibilities onto guests and a language barrier that made communication difficult. The location was outside the center but not too far from Lake Kawaguchiko, offering a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from the rooftop. The dining options were traditional Japanese and delicious but at a high price. The facilities were adequate but not exceptional.

The hotel offers a traditional Japanese experience with small rooms that can feel cramped for two persons, resembling a storage room and lacking windows and a microwave. Despite this, the setting is very authentic with a small table and beds on the floor. The service, while friendly and helpful upon arrival, may present challenges with English proficiency and a tendency to push responsibility onto guests. The location, though debated due to its distance from Kawaguchiko Station, is convenient for exploring the area around Mt. Fuji, being within walking distance of a picturesque bridge offering the best view of the mountain at sunrise.
